Crisis brews in Obudu as unknown Road Contractor issues quit notice (Must Read)

An unnamed Road Contractor has sparked up fresh crisis is in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River State after issuing a one hour notice to shop owners at the Calabar lane in Obudu urban to evacuate their wares as they have instructions to pull down the structures.
According to CrossRiverWatch, the contractor is suspected to be the same one handling the 140 kilometer Mfum-Obudu Cattle Ranch road; Sydney Construction Limited and a week after moving into Obudu, demolished stalls along roads from Animal Junction to where the famous Eagle junction was.
Now, the shops from Aloma fuelling station to the Cyclist park are to give way too with the shop owners given only one hour to evacuate.
The notice was given at about 11:00 AM on Wednesday. It was later gathered that, there are no fewer than a dozen shops which sell electronic, household items, beverages, an arts shop, a mechanical shops and a carpenters shop are to give way.
Following the quite notice, some shop owners are saying this was too sudden. A bulldozer is seen parked nearby with the driver said to be awaiting further instructions.
Meanwhile, shop owners are busy moving out their wares in the lane which is less than a kilometer long after an initial face off did not work out well for them.
