A mother and her son have been buried on the same day in Akwa Ibom state. The mother gave up the ghost on the 18th of December, 2017 at the age of 77..
The son, Mr Okon Udo Essen of Ukana Ikot Ntuen, a staff of Federal Polytechnic Ukana in Essien Udum Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State - consulted the Church and fixed Friday 23rd March, 2018 for the burial as the first son of the family. .
Friends were contacted and preparations were in top gear for the burial.
On Saturday 10th of February, 2018, at the peak of planning for the mother's burial, Okon too answered the final call after a brief illness that defied medical attention.
Both the woman and her son were laid to rest today amid tears in their family house in Akwa Ibom state.
